Directions

Spread melted butter and brown sugar in an oven baking dish. Lay some pineapple slices over it and place cherries over it. In a bowl mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Then add shortening, egg, vanilla extract, milk and blend it for a minute. Put the batter over the layer of pineapple. Bake it 350 F for 50-55 minutes. Immediately flip it upside down. Pineapple upside down is ready.
