Pineapple Sponge Recipe
Ingredients
| Gelatine 15 to 20 gm. | ||
| Lime | 1/2 (For 4) | |
| Egg whites | 2 (For 4) | |
| Pineapple | 225 Gram (For 4) | |
| Sugar | 45 Gram (For 4) | |
| Water and pineapple juice 300 ml. | ||
Directions
1. Dissolve gelatine in the liquid. Add sugar and lime juice and allow to cool.
2. Dice pineapple.
3. Whisk the whites till stiff in a large bowl and add the liquid gradually and continue whisking till mixture starts to set.
4. Add two-thirds of the pineapple and whisk well together.
5. Pile at once in a glass dish and decorate with the remaining pineapple.
6. Serve with custard sauce.
