Pineapple Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| Crushed pineapple | 1 Can (10oz), drained | |
| 1 tablespoon plus 1 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch | ||
| Sugar | 1 Tablespoon | |
| 2 tablespoons spiced rum or 1 1/2 teaspoons rum extract | ||
| 1/2 teaspoon grated lemon or lime peel | ||
Directions
Combine reserved pineapple juice and cornstarch in small saucepan; stir in sugar.
Heat over medium heat until slightly thickened.
Stir in rum; cool.
Stir in crushed pineapple and lemon peel.
