Pineapple Pork Patties Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 1/2 pounds lean ground pork | ||
| Egg | 1 | |
| Garlic | 2 Clove (5gm), pressed | |
| 1 medium-size onion, finely chopped | ||
| 1 medium-size green pepper, seeded and finely chopped | ||
| Ground cumin | 3/4 Teaspoon | |
| 4 English muffins, split and toasted | ||
| 8 slices canned pineapple, drained well | ||
| 1/2 teaspoon each salt, pepper, and oregano leaves | ||

Directions
In a bowl, combine pork, egg, garlic, onion, green pepper, salt, pepper, oregano, and cumin.
Divide into 8 equal portions; shape each into a 4-inch patty.
Heat a wide frying pan over medium heat; add patties and cook, turning once, until meat is well browned on both sides and no longer pink when slashed (6 to 7 minutes on each side).
Place patties on muffin halves and keep warm.
Add pineapple to pan and cook, turning, until lightly browned on both sides.
Place on top of patties.
