Pineapple Glace Recipe
Ingredients
| Pineapples | 4 Small | |
| Sugar | ||
| Cointreau (or any orange liqueur) | ||
| Ice-cream, vanilla | ||
Directions
Choose 3-4 evenly shaped small pineapples.
(Half a fruit should be sufficient for one serving.) Keep the tops on the fruits, wash well and then cut in half lengthwise.
Scoop out the fruit leaving 1 cm (1/2 inch) flesh around the shell.
Sprinkle with sugar and Cointreau and chill for two hours.
Finely cut the flesh from inside the pineapple and combine with ice cream.
Fill the shells with the mixture and place in plastic bags or a covered container and freeze for at least two hours.
