 Sugar2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Brown sugar1 Cup (16 tbs)
 Light cream1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Crushed pineapple1 Can (10oz), drained
 Butter2 Tablespoon
 Ginger1/2 Teaspoon
 Vanilla2 Teaspoon
 Walnuts1 Cup (16 tbs), broken

Directions

Combine sugars, cream, and pineapple; cook, stirring occasionally, to soft ball stage, 236 degrees.
Remove from heat.
Add butter, ginger, and vanilla.
Cool to room temperature, stirring, until lukewarm.
Beat until mixture loses its gloss.
Add nuts.
Pour into buttered 8x8x2 inch pan.
Score candy in squares.
Press walnut half on each.
Finish cutting when firm.
