Pineapple Delight Recipe
Ingredients
1 cup (250 ml) water
1/4 CUP (60 ml) sugar
2 tbsp (30 ml) cornstarch
1 cup (250 ml) pineapple, crushed
1 tsp (5 ml) lemon juice
Maraschino cherries
Directions
– In a saucepan, heat water.
– In a bowl, combine sugar and cornstarch; gradually add water; stir.
– Add pineapple pulp and lemon juice; cook until mixture becomes smooth and creamy.
– Remove from heat; refrigerate.
– Pour into dessert cups; garnish with maraschino cherries.
