Ingredients

 Pineapple1 Medium
 Raisins package1
 Vinegar1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Brown sugar - 1 1/2 cups packed
 Red peppers3 To taste
 Garlic2 Tablespoon, finely chopped
 Ginger root2 Tablespoon, finely chopped
 Salt1 Tablespoon
 Almonds or macadamia nuts - 1 cup chopped

Directions

GETTING READY
1) Skin pineapples and core.
2) Cut into small pieces measuring 4 cups.

MAKING
3) In a large saucepan stir remaining ingredients except nuts.
4) Cook gently for about 30 minutes until pineapple is tender.
5) Stir in nuts and cook until chutney till desired consistency.
6) Stir frequently.

SERVING
7) Pour into sterilized jars and seal with melted paraffin.
