Ingredients

 
4 tablespoons butter or margarine
 
1 broiler-fryer (about 2 1/2 pounds), cut up
 
1 teaspoon salt
 
1/2 teaspoon paprika
 
1/4 pound mushrooms, sliced
 
2 tablespoons flour
 
1 small onion, chopped (1/4 cup)
 
2 cups condensed chicken broth
 
1/2 cup light cream
 
1 Jar (4 ounces) pimientos, chopped
 
1 tablespoon parsley, chopped

Directions

Heat butter or margarine in a heavy skillet.
Add chicken, sprinkle with salt and paprika, and brown on both sides.
Lower heat, add mushrooms, and saute 5 minutes.
Stir in the flour, onion, and broth.
Simmer, covered, 30 minutes.
Stir in the cream, pimientos, and pars ley, and simmer 5 minutes more.
Serve over hot noodles.
