Pimento Cheese Swirls Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 pkg. hot roll mix | ||
| 1 egg, slightly beaten | ||
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Celery seed | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pimento | 2 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| 2 c. grated sharp American process cheese | ||
| Pepper | 1 Dash | |
Directions
Prepare the hot roll mix and let rise according to package directions.
Combine remaining ingredients.
Divide dough into 2 parts and roll each part to a 12 x 9-inch rectangle on a lightly floured surface.
Spread the cheese mixture on rectangles.
Roll each rectangle as for jelly roll, starting at long side, and seal edges.
Cut in 1-inch slices and place, cut side down, in well-greased 2 3/4-inch muffin cups.
Cover and let rise until almost doubled in bulk.
Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes or until done.
