 2 pounds whole pike
 Salt1 Teaspoon
 Pepper1/8 Teaspoon
 All purpose flour1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Cornmeal1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 3 tablespoons bacon fat or vegetable oil

Directions

Remove heads and tails from fish; wipe fish with damp cloth.
Mix remaining ingredients except bacon fat.
Roll fish in the mixture, and brown in bacon fat for about 4 minutes on each side.
