Pickled Green Beans Recipe
Ingredients
3 lbs. cooked green beans, cut in thin strips
2 1/3 cups vinegar
3/4 cup sugar
2 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. mustard seed
1/2 tsp. tumeric
1 onion, sliced
Directions
Cook 10 minutes and draingreen beans.
In large kettle simmer together the vinegar, sugar and spices for 15 minutes.
Add Sliced onion and beans andcook 5 minutes longer.
Pack beans into hot sterilized jars and fill jars with syrup.
Seal at once.
Process 10 minutes in boiling water bath.
