Pickled Garden Relish Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 small cauliflower, broken in tiny flowerets | ||
| 4 carrots, peeled, cut in 2-inch strips or julienned | ||
| 4 large long ribs of celery, in 1 inch pieces | ||
| 2 green peppers, cut in 2-inch strips | ||
| White onions | 2 Small, thinly sliced | |
| Wine vinegar | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salad oil | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sugar | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Oregano leaves | 1 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| Water | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
In large kettle, combine all ingredients.
Bring vegetables to a boil, stirring occasionally.
Reduce heat to simmer.
Cover pan and cook for 5 minutes.
Cool.
Store in refrigerator.
