Pickled Carrot Sticks Recipe
Ingredients
6 medium carrots
1 cup vinegar
1 cup water
1/3 cup sugar
1 tsp. whole mixed pickling spices
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
Directions
Wash and scrape carrots.
Simmer in salted water until almost tender.
Drain.
Cut into sticks.
Combine vinegar, water, sugar and spices.
Pour over carrots and let set overnight before using.
Very good in salads.
