Pickled Beets Recipe
Ingredients
| Cider vinegar | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1/2 cup beet juice | ||
| Honey | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Cloves | 2 | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Peppercorns | 3 | |
| Bay leaf | 1/4 | |
| Green onions | 2 Small, sliced | |
| 2 1/2 cups cooked beets, sliced | ||
Directions
Boil together vinegar and beet juice for a few minutes.
Add honey, cloves, salt, peppercorns and bay leaf.
Heat to boiling.
Pour over onions and beets and allow to cool.
