Ingredients

 Ground beef1/2 pound
 Onion1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped
 Garlic2 Clove (5gm), minced
 Water4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Potatoes3 Medium, peeled
 Chopped tomato2 Cup (16 tbs), peeled
 Celery1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped
 Bay leaf1 Large
 Sugar1 Teaspoon
 Pepper1/4 Teaspoon

Directions

In large saucepan cook beef, onion, and garlic till meat is browned.
Drain fat.
Add water, vegetables, bay leaf,sugar, pepper, and 1 teaspoon salt.
Simmer, covered, till potatoes are tender, about 30 minutes.
