Ingredients
1/2 cup fresh basil leaves (about 15 with stems removed) or 2 teaspoons dried
1/2 cup parsley leaves (Italian preferred)
1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan or Pecorino cheese
1/3 cup pine nuts or walnuts
2 to 4 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 to 1/2 cup imported olive oil
Directions
Place first 5 ingredients in blender or food processor and puree, adding olive oil a little at a time until mixture forms soft paste.
