Pesto Recipe
Ingredients
| Large bunch of basil leaves, weighing about 50 g (2 o z), stalks removed | ||
| Garlic | 2 Clove (5gm), crushed | |
| Pine nuts | 40 Gram | |
| Olive oil | 125 Milliliter | |
| Butter | 25 Gram, softened | |
| Parmesan cheese | 50 Gram, grated | |
| Black pepper salt | 1 To taste | |
| Shavings of Parmesan cheese | ||
Directions
MAKING
1) In a food processor or blender combine basil, garlic, pine nuts ,and oil. Run the machine and blend the ingredients to a smooth soft paste.
2) Pour the sauce in a clean bowl and add cheese and butter. Also, add seasonings as per taste.
SERVING
3) Toss freshly cooked pasta with the sauce and garnish with Parmesan cheese. Serve immediately.
