Classic Basil Pesto Recipe Video

Ingredients

 
2 cups torn fresh basil leaves (discard tough stems)
 
3 Tbs pine nuts
 
1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
 
1/2 cup good quality olive oil
 
1 tbs chopped garlic

Directions

Process basil leaves in food processor, add pine nuts, garlic and cheese and process using on/off
pulses. With processor running, stream in olive oil and blend. Store in refrigerator for up to 1 week, or freeze.
