Perfect Bread Pudding Recipe
Ingredients
2 1/4 cups milk
2 slightly beaten eggs
2 cups 1-inch day-old bread cubes
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2. cup seedless raisins, dark or light
Directions
Combine milk and eggs; pour over bread cubes.
Add remaining ingredients; toss lightly to blend.
Spread mixture in greased 8x8x2 inch baking dish.
Set dish in shallow pan on oven rack.
Pour hot water around it 1 inch deep.
Bake in moderate oven (350°) about 35 to 40 minutes or till knife inserted halfway between center and outside edge comes out clean.
