2 cups uncooked long grain brown rice
 
5 cups unsalted vegetable stock or water

Directions

1. Place the rice in a strainer, and rinse under running water.
2. Place the rice and the vegetable stock or water in a 2-quart or larger rice cooker. Turn the cooker on, and leave undisturbed until the cooking cycle is complete.
3. Leave the rice in the cooker on the warming cycle to keep hot.
