Perfect Amber Marmalade Recipe

Ingredients
1 grapefruit
1 orange
1 lemon
Cold water
Sugar
Directions
Slice fruit very, very thin, discarding seeds and cores.
Measure into a non-metallic bowl, and for each cup of fruit add 3 cups of cold water.
Let stand overnight.
Put the fruit and water in a pan and boil for exactly 10 minutes after it reaches boiling point.
Again let it stand overnight.
Measure again, heat, add 1 cup of sugar for each cup of the fruit mixture, and boil steadily until the jelly stage is reached (liquid sheets from a metal spoon to form a large drop, or about 220° on a candy thermometer).
Pour hot into hot, sterilized glasses and seal according to manufacturer's instructions.
