Peppermint Pie in Chocolate Shell Recipe
Peppermint pie is chocolate shell is a strawberry and mint flavored pie prepared with gelatin and crushed peppermint candies. Made creamy with whipped cream ,the pie has double delights in the filling as well as the chocolate shell. The ppermint pie in chocolate shell is a worthy summer dessert.
Ingredients
| 1 package strawberry flavored gelatin | ||
| Hot water | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Heavy cream | 2 Cup (16 tbs), Whipped | |
| 1 cup crushed peppermint stick candy | ||
| Chocolate Shell | ||
Directions
Dissolve gelatin in hot water; chill till partially set.
Fold whipped cream and 1/2 CUP of candy into gelatin mixture.
Spoon into Chocolate Shell.
Chill till set, about 4 hours.Just before serving, sprinkle top with remaining 1/2 cup candy.
