Peppered Oven-Fried Potatoes Recipe
Ingredients
1 tablespoon margarine, melted
1 tablespoon water
3 medium potatoes (3/4 pound), peeled and cut into 1/2-inch strips
Vegetable cooking spray
1 tablespoon plus
1 1/2 teaspoons chopped fresh cilantro
2 teaspoons minced onion
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon red pepper
1/8 Teaspoon pepper
Directions
Combine margarine and water in a large bowl, stir until blended.
Add potato strips, and toss lightly to coat well.
Arrange potato strips in a single layer on a baking sheet coated with cooking spray.
Combine remaining ingredients, and sprinkle evenly over potatoes.
Bake at 400° for 35 minutes or until crisp and golden brown.
Remove to paper rowels to drain, if necessary.
Add potato strips, and toss lightly to coat well.
