Peppered Grilled Hamburger With Special Sauce Recipe Video
How to make a pepper grilled hamburger with special sauce.
Ingredients
| For the sauce: | ||
| Mayonnaise | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Ketchup | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Sweet relish | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Worcestershire sauce | 1 Dash | |
| Kosher salt | 1 Dash | |
| Black pepper | 1 Dash | |
| For the burger: | ||
| Tomato | 1 Medium, thinly sliced | |
| Sweet onion | 1 Medium, thinly sliced | |
| Green leaf lettuce | 2 Ounce | |
| Lean ground beef | 18 Ounce | |
| Cheddar cheese | 4 Medium (Slices) | |
| Bacon | 9 Medium (Slices) | |
| Sesame buns | 6 Medium | |
Directions
MAKING:
1. For the Sauce: In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, sweet relish, Worcesterchire sauce, salt and pepper.
2. Place in the refrigerator and keep cool.
3. For the Burger: Make 3 equal sixes patties from the ground meat form 3 equal sized patties.
4. Season on all sides with Kosher salt and season heavily on all sides with cracked black pepper.
5. Next place the pattes on a very hot grill between 450° to 550° fahrenheit.
6. Cook for 4 to 6 minutes on each side to achieve a medium internal temperature.
7. When you flip over the burgers to the other side, lay down the bacon on the grill as well. Be sure to move the bacon around because it will cook quickly.
8. The bacon should be crispy and done cooking at the same time as the burgers.
9. If you feel inclined, throw the onion rings on the grill at the same time as the burgers for a delicious caramelize onion flavor.
10. You can also grill the bun if you like them toasted. Place the bun on the grill for 30 seconds to 1 minute to toast.
FINALIZING:
11. Place the burger patty on top of the bottom part of the sesame bun.
12. On top of the burger patty goes cheese, bacon, special sauce, tomato, onion, lettuce and top of the bun.
SERVING:
13. Serve along side freshly sliced fruit.
