I have to admit this recipe of pepper steak is on my favorite list. Use the freshest of beef available to get a delicious pepper steak. This pepper steak as a side dish is a winner! One trial wont be enough for this pepper steak recipe, I am sure you will be making it again!.

Pepper Steak
Ingredients
1 1-lb. boneless
chuck steak, 1/2 in.
thick
1 tsp. unseasoned meat
tenderizer
2 tbsp. salad oil
2 med. green peppers
2 tbsp. minced onion
1 clove of garlic,
mashed
1/2 c. diagonally
sliced celery
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. beef stock or
consomme
1 tsp. soy sauce
Salt and pepper to
taste

How to make Pepper Steak
Cut steak into thin strips; sprinkle with meat tenderizer.
Brown in oil in skillet.
Cut green peppers into thin strips; add onion, garlic, green peppers and celery to steak.
Saute for about 2 minutes or until vegetables are partially tender.
Combine cornstarch, beef stock and soy sauce; add to steak mixture.
Cook, stirring, until liquid is slightly thickened and begins to simmer.
Add salt and pepper.
Serve immediately over rice.
