Ingredients

 Vegetable oil1 1/2 Teaspoon
 1 pound sirloin tip steak
 Oregano leaves1/2 Teaspoon, crushed
 Onion1 Large, thinly sliced
 Garlic1 Clove (5gm), minced
 Green pepper1 To taste, cut into strips
 Pepper red1 To taste, cut into strips
 Black pepper salt1 To taste
 4 (6-inch) French bread rolls, split
 Shredded monterey jack cheese1/2 Cup (16 tbs)

Directions

Heat oil in large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
Add steak.
Sprinkle with oregano.
Cook 3 to 4 minutes or until steak is browned on both sides, turning after 2 minutes.
Add onion and garlic to steak in skillet.
Continue cooking 3 minutes.
Add green and red peppers; cook until peppers are tender and steak is medium-rare, stirring occasionally.
Remove steak from skillet; slice thinly.
Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Return steak slices to skillet; mix lightly with vegetables.
Fill rolls with steak mixture and cheese.
