Pepper Steak Recipe

Pepper Steak tastes like something similar my mom made years before. I like this Pepper Steak just like it is. You will like it too!

Ingredients

 
1 1/2 pounds round steak, cut in serving portions
 
Salt and pepper
 
2 tablespoons flour
 
2 tablespoons oil
 
1/2 cup canned green chili peppers, diced
 
1 medium onion, sliced
 
1 clove garlic, crushed
 
1 can condensed tomato soup
 
1 cup water
 
1 tablespoon lemon juice

Directions

Season meat with salt and pepper and dust with flour.
Heat oil in a skillet and brown meat on both sides.
Alternate layers of meat, pepper, and onion in crock cooker.
Combine remaining ingredients and pour over meat.
Cover and cook at Low heat for 6 to 8 hours.
