Classic Pepper Steak Recipe
Ingredients
| Oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
| 1 pound boneless steak, cut into thin strips | ||
| Soy sauce | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Dash of ground ginger | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Green peppers | 2 Medium, cut in to chunks | |
| Onions | 2 Medium, sliced | |
| Cornstarch | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Beef broth | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
Set Power Select at MEDIUM-HIGH.
In oblong baking dish, heat oil 2 minutes; add steak, soy sauce and ginger.
Heat 5 to 6 minutes, stirring once; season with salt and stir in peppers and onions.
Set Power Select at HIGH.
Heat, covered, 3 to 3 1/2 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender.
Stir in cornstarch blended with broth and heat 3 to 3 1/2 minutes or until sauce is thickened, stirring once.
