Homemade Pepper Steak Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 pounds round steak in 1/2" strips | ||
| Oil | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Onion | 1 Medium, diced | |
| Soy sauce | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sugar | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1 | |
| Ginger | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| 2 green peppers, cut in strips | ||
| Tomatoes | 4 , quartered | |
| Water | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Cornstarch | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Bean sprouts | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
Brown strips of round steak in oil.
Add onion, soy sauce, sugar, seasonings, green pepper, tomatoes, and water.
Cook for 15 minutes.
Mix cornstarch with a little water and add.
Cook for 5 minutes.
Bean sprouts may be added last if desired.
