Ingredients

 Green bell peppers12 To taste
 Red bell peppers12 To taste
 12 onions (med. size)

Directions

Grind peppers and onions in food grinder (med.grind).
Cover with boiling water.
Let stand 2 minutes.
Drain.
Cover with 2 parts water and 1 part vinegar.
Bring to boil.
Let stand 10 minutes.
Drain.
Mix 1 pt.vinegar, 4 C.sugar, 4 t.salt, 4 T.whole mustard seed.(Also 1 t.celery seed, if desired.I omit this from mine).
Add to pepper and onion mixture; simmer 10 minutes.
Seal in jars.
I always double this recipe and then will make about 24 half pints or 12 pints.
