Pepper Pot Recipe
Ingredients
2 oz. lean pork, cut in 1 in. (2.5 cm) cubes
1 oz. beef, cut in I in. (2.5 cm) cubes
1 oz. chicken, cut in 1 in. (2.5 cm) cubes
1/4 cup carrot pieces
1/4 cup onion slices
1/4 cup celery pieces
1/4 cup potatoes, cubed
1/2 cup water
1 tsp flour
Dash curry powder, garlic
Powder, salt, pepper
Directions
Brown pork and beef cubes slowly in frying pan.
Add chicken cubes for last few minutes; drain.
Place meat, carrots, onions, celery, and potatoes in individual baking dish.
Combine water, flour, and seasonings in screwtop jar; shake to blend well.
Pour over meat mixture.
Cover tightly and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until meat is tender and gravy has thickened.
Add chicken cubes for last few minutes; drain.
