Pepitas Recipe
Pepitas, flavored pepitas actually, makes a great pick as an appetizer. This is a bake-n-serve appetizer, be advised to be bit careful while baking as the beans might pop. Try this simple and easy flavored Pepitas recipe.
Ingredients
| Butter | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Worcestershire sauce | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Raw pumpkin seeds | 4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Garlic salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Soy sauce | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 10 To 12 Drops Of Hot Pepper Sauce | ||
| Chili powder | 2 Tablespoon | |
Directions
In a large skillet, melt butter.
Add pumpkin seeds, soy sauce, chili powder, worcestershire sauce, garlic salt, salt and hot pepper sauce, mix well.
Cook, stirring, over medium heat until seeds are thoroughly coated.
Spread pumpkin seed mixture on an ungreased baking sheet.
Bake in a preheated 325-degree oven 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Watch carefully, seeds may pop.
Let cool on paper towels.
Store in airtight containers.
