| Penne pasta | 1 Pound, cooked | |
| Butter | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Garlic | 3 Clove (15 gm), minced | |
| Shallots | 3 Medium, finely chopped | |
| Soju | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Tomato sauce/Tomato puree | 15 Ounce | |
| Hot paprika/Pepper powder | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Heavy cream | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Oregano/Basil | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon (to taste) | |
| Pepper | 1 Teaspoon (to taste) | |
| Sesame seeds | 1 Tablespoon (for garnish) |

Directions
1. Heat butter in a sauce pan.
2. Once melted, add the onions and saute for 5 minutes.
3. Pour soju in it and allow the mixture to reduce by half for around 3 minutes.
4. Add the tomatoes,herbs, paprika, salt and pepper.
5. Pour the heavy cream and let it cook so as to get everything incorporated.
6. Use the hand mixer to blend the sauce and make it smooth.
7. Put the sauce in a bowl and mix the cooked pasta in it.
SERVING
8. Serve the pasta in a bowl and top with the sesame seeds.
