Beat the egg and egg white until well blended and mix in the flour and cornflour (cornstarch).
2 Heat the oil for deep frying to 190Â°C, 375Â°E Dip the apple wedges in the egg batter and fry them in the oil until golden-brown.
Remove and drain.
