My 40 yr old son requested this for Thanksgiving dinner. Had not prepared for at least 30 yrs. Thank goodness for the internet. The flavor seemed to take hime back to his childhood, So, he requested them again for next weekend....I've aways added rum/brandy extract..seems to enhance flavor of the pecans...
This is the exact recipe from my old Betty Crocker Cook Book...
