Pecan Crust Recipe
Preparing their favorite Pecan Crust is a way of letting my family know that I love them. Not trying out this Pecan Crust after reading about it is one of the biggest sins you could possibly imagine of committing.
Ingredients
1 cup pecans, toasted
22 vanilla wafers
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
Directions
Position knife blade in food processor bowl, add pecans and vanilla wafers.
Top with cover, process until finely ground.
Add sugar and butter through food chute, pulse 3 or 4 times or until well mixed.
Press mixture firmly into a lightly greased 10-inch pieplate.
Bake at 325° for 5 minutes.
Let cool on wire rack.
