Pecan Crumb Pie Recipe
This Pecan Crumb Pie is a wonderful dessert treat which has been a favorite for generations! Here's a simple and quick recipe for you to follow to make your own homamade Pecan Crumb Pie without any flaw!
Ingredients
1/2 cup eggs (about 3)
1 cup sugar, divided
2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/4 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup chopped pecans
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup apricot jam
1/2 cup heavy cream, whipped
Directions
Beat eggs until very light with 1/2 cup of the sugar.
Combine remaining sugar with crumbs, flour, baking powder and pecans.
Add butter, vanilla and beaten eggs and mix lightly.
Pour into a buttered 9-inch pie plate.
Bake in a moderate oven (350° F) 30 to 35 minutes.
Cool.
Serve garnished with apricot jam and cream.
