Pecan-Brown Rice Pilaf Recipe

Ingredients
| Vegetable cooking spray | ||
| Green onion | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Water | 21/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 1/2 teaspoons chicken-flavored bouillon granules | ||
| Dried thyme | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Brown rice | 1 Cup (16 tbs), uncooked | |
| Pecans | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), coarsely chopped | |
| Parsley | 2 Tablespoon, chopped | |
Directions
Coat a large saucepan with cooking spray; place over medium heat until hot.
Add onion, and saute until tender.
Stir in next 4 ingredients; cover and bring to a boil.
Add rice, and remove from heat.
Place rice mixture in a 1 1/2-quart baking dish coated with cooking spray; cover and bake at 050° for 50 minutes or until liquid is absorbed.
Stir in pecans and chopped parsley; garnish with parsley sprigs, if desired.
