Pecan Tarts Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 stick or 1/2 packet pie crust mix | ||
| Egg | 1 | |
| Sugar | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Butter/Margarine | 2 Tablespoon, melted | |
| Dark corn syrup | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Pecan halves | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
Heat oven to 375°.
Prepare pastry for One-crust Pie as directed on package except divide pastry into 6 equal portions.
Form each into a ball and roll into 4-inch circle.
Ease into muffin cup, making pleats so pastry will fit closely.
In small mixer bowl, beat egg, sugar, salt, butter and syrup thoroughly.
Stir in nuts.
Pour into pastry-lined muffin cups.
Bake 30 to 40 minutes or until filling is set and pastry is light brown.
