Cinnamon Pecan Pie Recipe

Ingredients
2 eggs, separated
1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon flour
1/4 cup (1/8 lb.) butter or margarine, melted
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup dark corn syrup
3/4 cup coarsely chopped pecans
1/2 cup pecan halves 9-inch unbaked pastry shell
Directions
Beat egg yolks with a rotary beater.
Add brown sugar, salt, cinnamon, flour, melted butter, vanilla, and syrup, beating well to blend.
Beat egg whites until stiff but not dry; fold into egg yolk mixture; add the 3/4 cup of coarsely chopped pecans.
Pour filling into pie shell; arrange pecan halves on top in an attractive pattern.
Bake in a 350° oven about 45 minutes, or until the center of the pie is set (test by shaking gently).
Cool.
