Pecan Flan Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 x 18 cm (7 in) prepared sweet pastry case | ||
| PECAN FILLING | ||
| Brown sugar | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Butter | 30 Gram | |
| Vanilla essence | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Eggs | 2 | |
| Golden syrup | 4 Tablespoon | |
| Plain flour | 1 Tablespoon, sifted | |
| Mixed spice | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Ground cinnamon | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Pecan nuts | 90 Gram, chopped | |
Directions
1. To make filling, beat sugar, butter and vanilla essence until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time beating well after each addition. Fold through golden syrup, flour, mixed spice, cinnamon and pecan nuts.
2. Spoon filling into pastry case and bake for 35-40 minutes or until firm.
