Crunchy Crusted Chicken Recipe Video
Pecan Crusted Chicken, hmm...pecans add extra crunch to the chicken. This is a dish which can be prepared for a large crowd and for small number of people. It is very simple to make. It has great nutritional value too. It has little fat but good carbohydrates necessary for body. There are protein and few essential calories.
Ingredients
1/2 c buttermilk
1 tbsp hot sauce
8 chicken tenders
1 sleeve Ritz crackers
1 c roasted pecans
1/2 tsp granulated garlic
1/2 tsp tarragon leaves
1/4 tsp pepper and paprika
For sauce
2 tsp olive oil
1 tsp butter
1/4 tsp tarragon and pepper
1/4 c pecans
1/2 c heavy cream
1/4 c honey
2 tbsp onions
Directions
1. Mix buttermilk and hot sauce.
2. Coat chicken tenders and refrigerate for 10-15 minutes.
3. Grind crackers, garlic, tarragon leaves and pepper and paprika into fine powder.
4. Add pecans to crackers and grind again.
5. Coat the tenders in cracker mixture.
6. Place the chicken on baking tray.
7. cook chicken in oven at 375 F for 8-10 minutes.
8. Heat oil and butter.
9. Saute onions until golden brown.
10. Add pecans, tarragon, black pepper, honey, heavy cream.
11. Let the sauce simmer for 2-3 minutes.
12. Place the chicken over sauteed noodles and pour sauce over it.
