Pecan Crescent Cookies Recipe

|Sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Cold water||1 Tablespoon|

|Pecans||1 Cup (16 tbs), finley chopped|
|Powdered sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|

Gradually stir in flour, pecans, and salt until well blended.
Form dough into a ball; flatten to 1 inch thick.
Wrap in plastic wrap; refrigerate 2 hours.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Roll dough between palms, a tablespoon at a time, to make 2 inch rolls.
Place rolls 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets; curve each to make a crescent.
Bake 15 minutes to lightly golden.
Cool slightly; roll in 1/2 cup powdered sugar.
Serve with sherbet, if desired.
