Pecan Bars Recipe
I am sure we both will agree that this Pecan Bars is simply delicious And I am double sure that this recipe of Pecan Bars makes it super delicious. No other ingredient will make Pecan Bars taste so yummy than Nuts. The Greek Pecan Bars is enticing as a Snack for meals. In my view, if one calls oneself a good cook, one must have a personal recipe of Pecan Bars, just like I do.
Ingredients
2 cups butter
4 cups flour
8 tablespoons confectioners' sugar
2 tablespoons vanilla
2 tablespoons ice water
4 cups pecans, chopped
1 pound confectioners' sugar
Directions
Cream butter thoroughly.
Gradually add the 8 tablespoons confectioners' sugar and continue creaming until well blended.
Mix nuts and flour and add gradually to the creamed mixture.
Add vanilla and ice water and mix well.
Roll pieces of dough with palms of the hands into 1 inch rolls or crescents.
Arrange on cooky sheets and bake in a 325 degree oven for 35 minutes or until golden brown.
Sift confectioners' sugar generously over cookies and place in cooky jar to mellow.
