2 (10-ounce) packages frozen English peas
 
1/4 cup chopped onion
 
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
 
1 (4-ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
 
2 tablespoons dry sherry
 
1/4 teaspoon salt
 
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
 
1/8 teaspoon ground marjoram Dash of pepper

Directions

Cook peas according to package directions, omitting salt.
Drain; set aside.
Saute onion in butter in a medium saucepan until tender.
Add peas and remaining ingredients; cook, stirring occasionally, just until thoroughly heated:
