Peas And Paneer Pulao Recipe

Ingredients
Rice - 1/2 kg
Shelled peas - 1/2 kg
Onions - 2 , sliced
Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
Green cardamoms - 4
Cloves - 3
Salt - to taste
Water - 6 cups
Paneer - 120 gms
Bay leaves - 2
Ghee - 150 gms
Cinnamon - 2 small pieces
White cumin powder - 2 tsps
Cashewnuts - 60 gms
Directions
GETTING READY
1 In a bowl, soak the rice for 15 minutes.
MAKING
2 In a pan, heat the ghee.
3 Fry the onion slices along with bay leaves, cloves and cardamoms until brown.
4 Add in the water, rice, red chilli powder, salt, cumin powder and paneer.
5 Cook gently until the rice is tender and water is absorbed.
SERVING
6 Serve garnished with fried cashewnuts.
