Peas With Sherry Recipe
Ingredients
2 pounds fresh green peas
1/4 cup minced onion
1 (4 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
1/4 cup dry sherry
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon dried marjoram leaves
Dash of pepper
Directions
Shell and wash peas; add enough boiling water to cover peas.
Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 12 to 15 minutes or until tender.
Drain.
Saute onion and mushrooms in butter in a large skillet 5 minutes; stir in peas and remaining ingredients.
Cook 1 minute.
