Peas And Shrimp Bisque Recipe
Ingredients
| Bacon slices | 2 , diced | |
| Onion | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), sliced | |
| 1 pound fresh peas, shelled, or 1 package frozen | ||
| Cream of shrimp | 1 Can (10oz), condensed | |
| Potato | 1 Can (10oz), condensed | |
| Light cream | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Milk | 2/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Tabasco | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Dry sherry | 3 Tablespoon | |
Directions
Slowly saute bacon in saucepan until crisp.
Add onion and peas.
Cook, covered, over medium heat 10 minutes, or until peas are just tender.
Remove from heat.
Add remaining ingredients.
Stir gently until well mixed.
Cook, covered, over low heat 20 minutes, or until bisque is heated through.
Stir occasionally.
Top each serving with a dash of paprika.
