 Iceberg lettuce2 Cup (16 tbs), shredded
 Sugar2 Tablespoon
 Butter/Margarine1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Dairy sour cream - to garnish
 Chives - to garnish, chopped

Directions

GETTING READY
1 Line a deep 2-quart casserole with a lid with large lettuce leaves.
2 Break apart peas and onions with a fork.
3 In lettuce-lined casserole, gently combine peas and onions, shredded lettuce, sugar and butter or margarine. Cover.

MAKING
4 Microwave at 100% (HIGH) for 10 minutes or until peas are tender, tossing gently after 5 minutes.
5 Let stand, covered, for 2 minutes.

SERVING
6 Serve topped with a dollop of sour cream and chives.
